Program Manager •
DOXA Documentary Film Festival • VANCOUVER, BC (Jan 2025 - Present) Directed the programming and delivery of the 2025 DOXA Documentary Film Festival, collaborating with the Programming Committee to finalize the lineup of 30–40 films, including Justice Forum and Rated Y programs. Negotiated screening rights with filmmakers and distributors, oversaw print traffic and program scheduling, and wrote and edited film notes for the   program book and website. Coordinated filmmaker travel and hospitality, organized and moderated Q&As and panel discussions, and worked with community partners to create  meaningful public engagement. Supervised programming staff and prepared a comprehensive post-festival report with recommendations for future editions.

Independent Filmmaker and Film Worker •
VANCOUVER, BC (2015 - Present) Direct all aspects of film production, including location booking, subject coordination, travel arrangements, and securing film permits. Supervise scheduling and draft agreements for subjects while collaborating with artists and crew. Pursue grant opportunities and evaluate budgets to secure funding for projects. Support fellow artists by overseeing budgets, assisting in contract creation, managing their scheduling, and providing sound mixing and design for their films.

Co-organizer. Hosted a full-day 16mm phytography workshop with Karel Doing at UNIT/PITT. Managed materials, registration, and promotion. 2025.

Light of a Thousand Stars
Co-curator. Programmed a short film screening with Diffusion Festival exploring state violence, imperialism, and environmental catastrophe. Coordinated event at The Cinematheque and managed audience outreach. 2025.

Sharlene Bamboat Screening
Co-organizer. Coordinated a public screening of if from every tongue it drips at SFU Djavad Mowafaghian Cinema. Managed partnerships, logistics, and communication with the artist. 2025.

Sharlene Bamboat Artist Talk
Co-organizer. Hosted an artist talk with Sharlene Bamboat on collaborative aesthetics in moving-image and sound practice. Oversaw scheduling, partnerships, and community outreach. 2025.

WORKSHOPS/SCREENINGS


Ecco Landscapes • Commissioned by UNIT/PITT, led a three-day workshop for 12 artists on sound mapping. Coordinated the hiring of Barry Truax and Edzi'u as guest speakers, managing event logistics, scheduling, and communication. 2024.

Soundscapes • Facilitator. Commissioned by Cineworks to lead a four-week sound workshop, guiding participants through both the technical and theoretical aspects of soundscapes. 2021.
